History

1899 – the first furnace fed with coke on Polish land runs on the site of the Present Foundry and the first castings were made.

Period between WW I and WW II – the Starachowice plant becomes a part of the central industrial area. Castings for an armaments factory are made in Starachowice (anti-aircraft guns).

After World War II – to 1993 – the foundry is a part of the Heavy Goods Vehicles Factory – production of castings for the motor industry.

1993 – 2001 – Odlewnie Polskie becomes a part of Grupa Kapitałowa Exbud (later EXBUD SKANSKA) one of the first private Polish companies quoted on the stock exchange.

Since 1998 shares of Spółka Akcyjna ODLEWNIE POLSKIE are available on the Warsaw Stock Exchange GPW – we are the first foundry on GPW in Warsaw.

In 2002 the Company OP Invest takes over a strategic package of shares of Spółka Akcyjna ODLEWNIE POLSKIE. OP Invest is a private company of Polish entrepreneurs managing Spółka Akcyjna ODLEWNIE POLSKIE.

Between 2005-2013 – extensive modernization of the foundry – investment expenses of a total of 90 million PLN

2018 – 25th anniversary of the Company
