We are the only ADI ductile iron producer in Poland, and the leader among the ductile iron producers in Poland. In terms of technology we are also one of the leading foundries in Europe.

Paris, 1889. At the World Fair – the Exposition Universelle – the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of the technology of the time, has just been presented. Another of the fair’s exhibits is a giant blower with a flywheel, which goes to the Polish town of Starachowice. This gives rise to the blast furnace, launched 10 years later by Towarzystwo Starachowickich Zakładów Górniczych [the Starachowickie Society of Mining Plants]. This marked the beginning of the foundry’s activity, which after many years transformed into ODLEWNIE POLSKIE S.A.

Odlewnie Polskie S.A. [Polish Foundries] employs almost 600 people. We have employess in Poland and Germany in administrative and technical positions.
